Heather grew up in Jenison, Michigan and earned her Bachelor’s in Business Administration from Grand Valley State University. She brings hands-on lending experience in mortgages, auto loans, and personal loans, having worked alongside banks, credit unions, and mortgage companies throughout her career. She is eager to expand her expertise into the commercial lending space.
As Closing Specialist at GLCF, Heather will assist with loan servicing and closing operations: maintaining organized borrower files, tracking compliance requirements, and ensuring documentation aligns with SBA guidelines. She will coordinate with loan officers, lenders, borrowers, and attorneys throughout the closing process, overseeing everything from due diligence and document preparation to post-closing follow-up and onboarding funded loans into the loan management system.
Heather will thrive in an environment where she can learn new skills while contributing to the success of others. She looks forward to embracing new challenges and is passionate about helping create positive outcomes for everyone involved.
Outside of work, Heather is devoted to her family. She and her husband are kept busy raising five kids and enjoy boating, fishing, off-roading, traveling, and spending time with their dogs. Her favorite spots are on the water or the sand dunes. Heather’s family recently settled in Grandville and are looking forward to tackling some home renovations.
