GLCF Welcomes Chazney Balmer – Our New Closing Specialist!

Great Lakes Commercial Finance (GLCF), a leading provider of SBA 504 loans in Michigan, is pleased to welcome Chazney Balmer to their team as a Closing Specialist.  Chazney is part of the Closing and Servicing Team and will assist in closing approved 504 loans in compliance with SBA rules and regulations.

Born and raised in the Grandville area, Balmer got her bachelor’s degree from Davenport University. She brings with her over six years of financing experience, all of which were spent working for a credit union in Southeast Michigan. Balmer was drawn to GLCF because of their close-knit team and looks forward to working alongside them to follow two of her passions – developing her communities and helping local small businesses grow. “I love the idea of a smaller community of people to work with on a daily basis,” shares Balmer. “I come from a larger company where it is hard to get to know all your co-workers. GLCF allows me work closely with my teammates to help small businesses, communities, and local economies across the state.” Balmer’s previous lending experience will help her to better guide clients through the loan closing process and get the financing they need to take the next step on their entrepreneurial journey. She understands the details of SBA financing and will help GLCF’s borrowers navigate the process with ease so they can continue to grow their businesses.

In her free time, Balmer loves to invest in her local communities. She is a part of a mentorship program in the local area, plays co-ed softball in the summer, and enjoys spending time with friends and family. To get in contact with Balmer, call (616) 323-1278 or email chazney@glcf.org.

Balmer’s addition to the team takes GLCF’s efforts to expand its presence and offerings in the region to an even greater level. The organization continues to grow its loan operations and support team with knowledgeable and experienced members, creating a seamless and efficient process for all their SBA 504 borrowers.
