Great Lakes Commercial Finance (GLCF) is thrilled to announce that Shannon Dwyer has joined our team full-time as a Loan Officer.
Shannon Dwyer graduated from Western Michigan University with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting. She brings over a decade of experience in commercial banking, having worked as a commercial credit analyst before transitioning into a commercial lending role. At GLCF, she will focus on the SBA 504 Loan program, serving the West Michigan market, specifically the Lakeshore and Traverse City.
In her new role, Shannon will have the opportunity to build relationships within the commercial lending community and collaborate with financial institution partners.
“During my tenure as a traditional commercial lender, I often utilized the SBA 504 program with business clients due to its many advantages. This program not only provides small businesses with access to affordable capital and favorable terms but also fosters job creation and offers a beneficial structure for financial institutions. I’m excited to be a part of the GLCF team and share my passion for the program with other lenders throughout the region!” said Shannon Dwyer.
Outside of work – you can find Shannon, her husband and daughter frequenting the many parks throughout West Michigan. She loves traveling, including weekend trips to beautiful Northern Michigan where many of her family members reside and she enjoys taking in live music shows. Shannon is passionate about being active in her community.
“We are excited to welcome Shannon to the GLCF team, joining our expert loan officers. Shannon brings a wealth of experience and knowledge from her work in traditional commercial lending, and we are eager to introduce her fresh perspective to our efforts here,” said Julie Parker, President & CEO of GLCF.
